~Very Early Church Pews from an Historical Church in Astoria, IL~

South Fulton Churchhouse
Also known as South Fulton Dunkard Brethren Church

Period of Significance: 1875-1899

these pews were built specifically for the church members "love fests" held every summer for church related activities~

Some of the church pews were built with wide one board planks for the backs which can also be slid off and used for table tops~ ~a very useful detail for serving food to the members~

~some benches measure 10 feet to 12 feet in length~

~They can be cut in half if a shorter pew is needed~

~priced between $200.-$390.00 depending on length and style~


Wonderful "old havest table." The table was constructed years ago
~ the base is made from an old quilting frame from the late
1800's and the thick pine table top was made from very early
barn lumber. Absolutely beautiful! Price: $395 Sold

Minus the chimney, this fireplace mantel can offer the ideal accent

A wonderful walnut rope bed was made sometime

A very Early, unique Meal Bin with Wisconsin origins.
This piece exhibits a warm pine finish and features 3
compartments and 3 drawers~there were 3 coats of early paint sadly removed by the previous owners~  Price: $725

A wonderful turned legged table from a farmhouse kitchen.
Has a lot of character thanks to a few boys with a pocket knife.
There are a few names carved into the wood.
One in particular has a name and date
of 1905. Boys will be boys.

Carved on this table is the name, G. Hicks. Wonder if Mr.
Hicks was the original owner or one of the family?
Also carved on the table top is the graffiti, eat hay.
Wonder if the author got a spanking for
modifying the kitchen table.
